Plays to most of Smirnoff's target demographic in dissing Trump.

Plays to most of the rest by insinuating that there's no tie between Smirnoff, whose campaign was long "Russian vodka", and Russia itself. The ties were lost right after the Revolution, because Smirnoff was founded by a refugee from Soviet Russia who fled collectivization, confiscation, and oppression of anything that would diversify the monolithic "proletariat".
