I think the reason is to decrease the surplus population - just like Scrooge said

I think people like Paul Ryan, who we know is an Ayn Randian with little empathy or care for others, that each individual should be responsible for themselves and all of the like minded sociopaths in the republican senate and congress don't care if people die. I think they see this swath of nameless, faceless "takers" out there that are only a drag on the economy and our resources. To them, they contribute nothing but take and rely on others. Others who don't want to provide for them.

They don't care but there will be a financially beneficial by product of their anti healthcare bill - reduced population (many of which are people of color), survival of the fittest, whitest and a reduction in the surplus population.

I don't think I have ever seen such a heartless, devious and ruthless movement like this in my lifetime - the republican party. I never had much agreement with their policies but I never sincerely felt that they *want* people to die and legislate to hasten that death. Chilling, really.

It's the same ideology the Nazi's had although the Nazi's just blatantly went out and killed people.

it's our money. It's blatant thievery. The insult will be in them thinking they can get away with it. So it's painful and infuriating for us, and for them, it only heightens their amusement. I'm ready for another protest.

Who was the Republican representative who said that just because he kid broke his arm was no reason to rush out the door for emergency room treatment. It could wait until morning.

They use to complain about abortion-on demand, now they are complaining about medical treatment when needed, next they will be having us download self-help instructions for do it yourself cataract surgery.

Businesses have to provide access to disabled people. Some times businesses are fined or sued because there isn't access for those with disabilities, physical, hearing impaired, sight impaired etc.

And look at all of those handicap parking spots right in front of the store that very seldom have cars parked in them. An entitled busy republican could use that spot to run into the store for their pork rinds and Red Bull instead of having to walk 50 ft.

But this gutting of Medicaid and eventually destroying Medicare in some way and privatizing social security - those are Paul Ryan's wet dream.

Crime will increase exponentially as the pace of our safety nets unravel.

CHAOS is the goal, or so it seems.

Shock Doctrine roll out everyday.

And no, the young don't vote en masse. Maybe when pain knocks on their door they will wake up and do their civic duty.

The vote rigging began in Ohio, Kenneth Blackwell (think that was his name). He was rewarded quite nicely. And Florida 2000

The price for apathy is death for too many innocents according to history.

We need an ANTI-APATHY campaign, imo!

A rant
