My entire life I was warned to be fearful of young poor minorities

I never had any problems with young poor minorities.

As it turned out it was the wealthy bastards of all stripes I should have been warned about.

Now that warning could have done me some good.

I have never been ripped off by a minority when it came to payment. More than a few white people have tried and a few less have succeeded (and they were living in homes worth hundreds of thousands of dollars). And it's about 50-50 the people I do jobs for in terms of white/non-white.
