Cathy McMorris Rodgers is a total idiot.

Whose Rep is she? I can't believe the GOP allowed her on tv, even morning GOP-friendly MSNBC. She simply cannot answer a single question about health care or tax cuts. She only knows the talking points, and when Chucky Todd veers from the script she expects, she just stumbles over her words and repeats her talking points. It's almost painful to watch, but it IS funny since she's a GOP stooge.

Chuck pointed out that in reality, more and more people are shown to actually LIKE what's i the health care reform bill, and DON'T want to see it repealed. He pointed out that since the SCOTUS decision, favorability has actually increased.

She could only remember her script: "The more people get to know about Obamacare, the more they dislike it."

Todd had to remind her that that was not at all what he said, nor was it what the polls indicated.

"But...uh...yes, but...the more people get to know about Obamacare, the more they don't like it."

Not exact quotes, but you get the idea. She is a dolt. I feel sorry for the people she represents in Washington state.

she wouldn't accept that either. she insisted it was higher.

there is no thought process from these 'legislators'

they get elected on talking points and legislate with nothing more

From Eastern Washington to be more specific, where the majority of the states conservatives are holed up.

she is from my country - eastern / central Washington state - more like Idaho, than Seattle. Folks sometimes move here not knowing that and become quickly disenchanted.

We have HORRIBLE repub representation in the U.S. Congress. Fortunately 2 great women senators and a great woman Guv. Sadly it's looking like our next Guv might be repub Rob McKenna.

I moved here (from the lib east coast) over 30 years ago thinking it was just going to be a one-off for fun, for a year or so, but ended up meeting my mate and staying!

Odd thing is I love horses, country music, everything country! I call myself a new-age cowgirl! Have lots of other progressive friends here now, but when I'm with my horse friends, I'm conflicted: we don't talk politics, but everyone "knows"! Rodeos are the hardest because they always want to diss the Prez.

I wear my Obama 2012 car decal proudly, though!

I am ashamed to say she is from my hometown Spokane Washington.
What a token female politician she is allowing the Good Ole boy's to make of her.
When asked what her position was of Obama's birth certificate, she RAN away from the camera.
Ya, we are all real proud of this AIR HEAD.....
