Whatever chaos comes out of the Trump administration, they know they're safe from it and have nothing to fear. If a large swath of the American people take an enormous hit, Republicans will just wait out the horror, then disavow Trumpism: Hey, he's not really a Republican, not our guy at all! Don't blame us for the misery he inflicted on you.
We can let Republicans do that, or we can hold them jointly accountable with this madman their party installed in the White House.
