The entire Trump administration is a fake. On first glance, it might appear to be an actual presidential administration, but it is not. It is pure fakery. Instead of appointing qualified people to positions within the administration and getting Senate approval for them, the Trump administration simply ignores the need for leadership in executive branch departments and agencies, leaving them to slowly become non-functional.
Real presidential administrations seek out the best and brightest people who share the President's views. The fake Trump administration routinely puts unqualified and incompetent individuals to work, solely because they are loyal to Trump, himself. Worst of all, he employs his daughter and son-in-law in unpaid positions to avoid nepotism rules and then turns them out to handle sensitive negotiations and diplomatic missions. The result is, of course, utter failure.
Real Presidents negotiate carefully with congressional leaders, providing guidelines and support for legislation that is designed to achieve well-defined goals. Trump's fake administration attempts to use threats, calls for all Senators to come to his offices, and then scolds them, but does not even demonstrate an understanding of the legislation in question.
At the mid-point of Donald Trump's initial term in office, it is clear that he has no intention of being a real President. It is clear that he intends only to fake the process of doing that essential job in our political system. He is a fake. His administration is a fake. If it continues, the executive branch of our government will decay and flounder with no leadership and no direction that makes any sense. We are living with a fake government in the United States.
When will that be recognized and corrected? I have no idea, but many seem to be satisfied with Trump's fakery and failure to perform the basic duties of the POTUS. We need to call this fake out and insist that he leave office. If we do not, the risks are enormous.
