Florida man charged in Islamic Center threats ate paint as child

http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/crime--law/new-florida-man-charged-islamic-center-threats-ate-paint-child/Sg1dGd2Zb94ovKIoLm3n1N/

New details have emerged about a man who is facing federal charges for making threats against a South Florida Islamic Center.

Gerald Sloane Wallace, 35, was arrested and charged with obstruction of persons in the free exercise of religious beliefs after he made threats via email and phone message to the Islamic Center of Greater Miami, according to WPLG.

Wallace’s attorney said his client "was hospitalized as a child for eating paint and was treated for lead poisoning," according to a U.S. magistrate judge’s detention order obtained by WPLG.

He also claimed that Wallace took classes for emotionally handicapped children in high school, but noted that he didn’t believe Wallace needed to be tested for competency.

so many "criminals" are walking around w undiagnosed brain issues.
tbi's, lead damage, bad drug interactions, even tumors.

no one should go to prison w/o a good neuro testing. it is throwing good money after bad to incarcerate someone who should be getting medical treatment.
