(23,099 posts)I had a weird case of fraud sent to me and I was explaining to our legal liaison what had happened. She asked me if people were really like that, committing thought out, pre-planned fraud? I advised, yes, there are truly evil people, but luckily the percentage of them isn't that high. 17% actually seems like a good number, because that's about 1/2 of his support, and that half is truly deplorable.

(7,394 posts)She maintains that 'evil' connotes a belief in spirituality, and that what we mark as evil is merely leftover primate wiring from three million years ago.
I usually nod my head and agree because I married well, but the primate in me knows intuitively that the world is 17% full of dark-hearted monsters.

(16,785 posts)As more people realize that the GOP Health Care plan is nothing more than NO coverage and a TAX CUT for the rich, more people are going to rise up and oppose the GOP.
Bloodbath at the polls in 2018 does not even begin to describe what will happen to the GOP if they repeal the ACA.
