not. In fact, whatever bleeding there was would have been staunched during the surgery and then bandaged to heal the incision.

A facelift causes visible swelling and bruising rather than flowing blood, which is why the patient does not want to be seen until the swelling and bruising go down. If she attended a party after having a facelift, she would have made sure there was enough time for the swelling and bruising to fade to nothing first.
