1. unfortunately, the 25th amendment requires 2/3rds of both houses.

making it actually harder than removal by impeachment, which requires 2/3rds of the senate but only simple majority in the house.

Maybe the Koch bros and Adelson can talk Twitler off the ledge and get him to resign.

But then we are left with his Holiness Mike Pence, "god's" own representative on earth as prez.

3. so far things are working out far better for us than we could ever have expected

when we worried about republican controlling all three branches of government, we didn't factor in how utterly incompetent they were.

it's frankly amazing that they've not been able to pass major legislation 5+ months in.

i don't know how long that will last, but let's hope they continue to supply all the gridlock we need.

all that, plus terrible approval levels.

let's hope this translates into a major political realignment.

4. Oh there will be a major political realignment come 2018..one way or the other...

I pray to God the american people wake up and destroy the republican party because if they don't in 2018, we will descend into a republican/NRA/religious reich/alt right nightmare dictatorship.

Thats our last chance to pull America out of the fire IMO.

And of course we will have Russian hacking and fake news/internet tricks and republican gerrymandering and voter suppression to overcome at that time as well.

Oh and the purists in the green party and Our Revolution? fighting against democrats as well no doubt.
