A Step Too Far

I apologize in advance if this item was already covered. I just ran across this vile video (in a sea of recent vileness) but this blew my mind. Link here:

http://www.motherjones.com/kevin-drum/2017/06/nra-declares-war-on-half-of-america/

Sorry for the link but I've forgotten how to embed.

In any case, the NRA has gone too far with its propaganda when they're basically shilling a Call to Arms. We, meaning those who disagree, The Resistance, etc., etc., have become 'them,' the clear enemy who dare criticize Our Great Leader.

Enough!

The passionate voice, the clenched fist, the lurid photos and the fear-mongering all speak to a despicable, destructive history. It's time for reasonable people to say: No More. It's time for responsible, sane gun owners to shout: No More. It's time for the electorate to say in unison: No more of the Insanity. No more of the lies, the obfuscation, the gross distortions.

As a gun owner myself, I am sickened, absolutely disgusted by this. I call out to other sensible, sane gun owners to push back against this online, on FB and/or in tweets. We all must be The Resistance. Because there is no other sane, honorable choice.

The "OBAMA WANTZ OUR GUNZ" ad campaign is over, so this shit is what they came up with to drive sales.

It's dangerous and sickening and they don't give a shit - It's all about driving sales

It has been about gun sales for a number of years. Probably always. But there's a difference between supporting hunters, gun hobbyists (target shooting/clay shooting, collectors, etc), even self-defense arguments and this, which is a hair from calling on so-called 'patriots' to take aim at any and all dissenters. You would think after the recent shooting of Scalise and other Republicans in Alexandria that the tenor would be brought down. But no, this is almost a tit-for-tat stance.

It's just revolting and makes all gun owners look like a bunch of yahoos who eagerly wait to take to the streets, guns ablazing.

Dana Loesch should be ashamed for lending her face and voice to this repulsive screed. And the NRA? They should be put out of business.

It takes a lot to get me truly angry. But this threw me into orbit.

You didn't know that? Hard to sell guns when there is no "gun-grabber in chief" to demonize.

Same type of propaganda videos showing clean, well-fed, happy Jewish families at Auschwitz.

It's a war on truth, decency, civility, and humanity.

and should be a wake up call for all those in our 'resistance' to the insanity running up and down the halls of 1600. But, I feel, most will be asleep at the wheel when the feces hits the rotating oscillator.
