Watch The NRA Ad Thats So Outrageous, Womens March Is Demanding An Apology

On Wednesday night, the Women’s March organizers published an open letter in response to a recent video advertisement from the National Rifle Association (NRA).

The video, published to the NRA’s Facebook page on June 12, features conservative talk-show host Dana Loesch describing the recent resistance to President Donald Trump as violent and, because of this violence, people should support the NRA.

Throughout the one-minute video, Loesch uses an “us versus them” narrative to promote the NRA’s false claim that protestors ― mainly people of color and women ― are violent. According to the video, the only way to quell this supposed violence is to meet it with more violence by buying a gun.

“This NRA ad is an open call to violence to protect white supremacy,” civil rights activist DeRay Mckesson tweeted. “If I made a video like this, I’d be in jail.”
Many activists, including Women’s March organizer Tamika Mallory, tweeted their outrage over the NRA ad.

Resist. Make calls. This needs to be taken down and they need to be charged with hate speech and inciting violence!

that represents 7% of gun owners. Posting for emphasis, to counter the propaganda that has been put out, oh, forever, that the NRA speaks for all gun owners

Like our president, they are bullies.

Their approach is: "We have all the Power. We get to say what Gun Owners think. Don't like it? Tough Shit. What are you going to do about it? That's what I thought: Nothing."

And this does not speak for me nor the majority of sane, responsible gun owners, who know that to own a gun is to own a huge personal responsibility that is not to be taken lightly.

Dana Loesch makes a disgusting mockery of those of us who take the responsibility seriously. This is not a damn Clint Eastwood movie where you get impassioned and clench your fist and make outrageous claims about your fellow citizens because you do not agree with their point of view. This is not a damn sales pitch for the NRA to increase gun sales. When you pick up a loaded gun and aim at anyone, you're intention is clear: you're prepared to shoot and kill. That is the rule of the gun, the only rule. Otherwise you do not pickup a firearm, ever.

This is not a fucking game and this is not the wild, wild west. Which ironically enough required men to turn their guns in before entering a town. Because . . . common sense.

Sorry to rant but this drives me crazy with anger. I've been seething ever since watching the clip over at TPM. This video is disgusting and reckless and very, very dangerous. The NRA and Loesch should be boycotted for their gross stupidity.

Sorry, too, I'm not yelling at you. Really. But this is no small thing and thankfully bigger venires are picking this up and running with it. Anyone associated with this vid should be publicly and vocally shamed. This is how the darkness takes hold. We must push back. We simply must.

NRA crap multiple times. She is in the Most Hateful circle of hatefulness. Yet appears with respectable hosts like Anderson COOPER and "behaves" like she is an objective commentator.
