I think this terrifies the very primitive little brain he has which is the same as the tiny brain the dumbest cavemen had. How can it be? They bleed, but they don't die.
And then sometimes they push out a new person.

(2,176 posts)in history fear and revulsion of women's mensis caused derogatory attitudes towards women and bleeding. In modern times the myths of women being at best crabby, at worst crazy during their period caught on. In fact any bodily fluids of women are seen as unclean by some religions and restrictions put in place on where women can be during their period.
Imagine the ancient power of a gender who could bleed every month and live, plus create life! The fear and suspicion of this goes very deep and the unaware man, which he certainly is, would be drawing from a deep place he doesn't even know he has.
