"There is nothing more patriotic than what we're doing on this July 4th weekend," Dominae Leveille, of Bedminster, said as eight protesters held signs by the side of Route 206 after the motorcade.

A sign reading "People's Motorcade" hung on a truck leading the activists, and a mannequin of Trump with a Pinocchio nose sat in the flatbed. American flags hung out the windows of several cars.

Anywhere from six to 125 people have joined past motorcades, which began May 6 during Trump's first weekend visit to New Jersey since taking office, organizer Jim Girvan said. Girvan, who sits on the steering committee of the anti-Trump activist group We the People NJ-07, spreads the word through Facebook and tells Bedminster police each week how many people he expects.

"I have 11 grandchildren faced with growing up in a country that doesn't represent anything it was meant to stand for," he said before he ticked off a list of his concerns, including healthcare, voting rights and national security.

this effort to divulge every voter and their history of voting on a government server with no known cyber security improvements - by an administration that seems to have no concern about Russian hackers - is tantamount to feeding our entire voting system to the Russians!
