A way to stop a bully is ignore him!

A very few days have gone by without some idiotic tweet from Trump. I am sicken by his rhetoric and that is all it is, is rhetoric. He is to much of wimp with no sense of dignity. As Michelle Obama say's "they take the low road and WE take the high road"! I have always thought a way to stop a bully, is to ignore them. So, here is an idea? Let's ignore the man, by not responding to his rhetoric? He will continue to tweet out his angry thoughts and think he is still controlling thing? But the buffoon will lose his edge and no one will care? Also, the media need to quit covering every little thing he does or says. They can cover the things that matter, but those other non sense stories need to stop! It won't be easy, but something has to finally put this crap to rest! Just my thoughts! Our country is falling apart, because a man who think by tweeting, he has power over everyone. We can take that power back! We are strong as one nation, but weak when we are only one fighting the bully!

but it shows us exactly where his head is (besides up his ass). He has no filters. He says stuff that he absolutely shouldn't, and it's already starting to bite him. His tweets about the travel ban were used against him in the court cases, for example. Since he doesn't know when to shut up, sooner or later he's likely to tweet something that will harm him badly w/r/t Mueller's investigation. I say, bring it on. Keep goading him to tweet more. Twitter gives him more than enough rope to hang himself with.

My take is Media created this POS,and it is their Management that has to decide, when will they rise above this Grand School Stupid for Ratings,or say enough is enough and wipe this stooge out once and for all.

4. That's what we did today at our Impeach Trump March when they tried to start many fights.

I have never seen so many of his supporters at one of our rallies and this was my 8th. They were making siren noises with a megaphone while the speakers were talking as well as wearing helmets, antagonizing the media, and even older handicapped people. We ignored them and they were REALLY mad.

I wonder if this increase is due to his recent onslaught of violent tweets or are they getting nervous about losing ground. Time will tell.

As for fighting one, you don't have to win. You just have to land one kick or punch to show him you can hurt him. He'll go pick on somebody who will take their parents' advice to ignore him.

The asshole in the White House isn't just a bully, he's a raging narcissist with an extremely thin skin. Best way to deal with him is to keep cutting him with words. Eventually he'll cross a line even his party faithful can't ignore or whitewash. Given the deep, systemic corruption of the Republican Party, it's about all we can possibly do.

And you not only have to fight them, you have to hurt them badly enough to not want to fight you again.

Ignoring it is normalizing it.

This must be stood up to forcefully.

You're right. Responding to a bully in any way that validates what he's saying or doing only makes him stronger, and in the case of Trump, further emboldens his stupid supporters. Stephen Jay Gould explained that he stopped "debating" creationists because to talk to them only validates the notion that they have something worth hearing to say. There is no point in trying to argue or reason or even to shame Trump and his ilk; we should ignore ignore ignore and when we just can't ignore, we should laugh at them because that infuriates them without engaging them.

Letting his stupid tweets and speeches upset you only plays into his hands. He *is* like an internet troll--his goal is to piss you off and watch you sputter. Don't feed the troll!

The more you ignore him, the angrier he gets. The only acceptable way to confront a bully like that is to get angry and kick 'em where it hurts.
