I think whatever glue has been holding the House, the Senate, and the White House together . . . .

. . . . is starting to fail.

A hint here. A clue there. A sign. A bit of pushback. A failed attempt to get voter records with no support offered by Congress. Little stomach for palling around with Russia. Abandonment of "great healthcare" for the country. There is existential fear about their fate in the midterms if they tie themselves too close to Two Scoops.

Stay tuned . . . .

I see a LOT of Repukes running for the middle ground...or outright voting with the Dems.

I don't see them hitching to Dense if he assumes the office, either.

I think the glue is money and the people that give it to the legislators. They need money to get re elected. If the backers of tRump start backing away then the money will start backing away. The legislators will start backing away... plop, there he goes...

The team he is assembling is more geared towards navigating the roads of prosecution of specific crimes that have been committed.

The House is also going to vote on the pretty tough Russian sanctions bill that essentially hampers Trump from doing what his Russian Godfather put him in office to do. And even if Trump vetoes, it looks like there will be enough to override.

They are probably trying to figure out how to save Pence.

During Watergate 40+ were convicted. Let's hope Ryan and McConnell go down too. We have to keep resisting though. We can't rely entirely on Mueller. Meanwhile the GOP is passing harmful BS right and left. I wish we could nail the health care lobbyists (Big Pharm and Insur Co.). I think the Supreme Court is looking into gerrymandering now too. If all of this happened it could possibly save this disaster our country is in due to the greedy hypocrites.

It is and always has been the money for most Republican Senators and Congresspersons.

Graham went after the Russia thing but said Trump is doing well everywhere else. I do not see the unglueing. Have to wait longer for Mueller. I think he is the only one, and it does not appear we are there yet.

You underestimate their primary motives:

GOP Pols: Power.
GOP Voters: Stigginit: and that's only getting more extreme.
