Yesterday's Gone. Let's Start Thinkin' about Tomorrow...

Sorry about those lyrics, but we really, really need to stop churning 2016 and start planning 2018. Not 2020 just yet. Let's focus on what is coming up next, shall we? Let Mueller do his work. Let the news media break stories about Trump and his corrupt cohort. That's going to take care of itself.

But, how about those Congressional Districts near you? How about that state legislature? Is your Governor going to be up for re-election in 2018? There are all those things coming up. It's never too early to get started working on those. Are there house seats that could be flipped in your state? State Assembly or Senate seats? How can you help? That's the real question.

It's OK. You can keep an eye on Trump and his shenanigans. Everyone is doing that. Every once in a while, though, look around to see if there isn't something you can do to improve things for 2018. And even this year, if you have local elections in November. There's plenty to do that is constructive. There's plenty of work to be had in improving our position in legislatures, both state and federal.

The Trump news will continue to flow. But, there's little to nothing any of us can do about that, really. So, let's turn our attention to things we can affect. What do you say? Are you in?

Let's punch on through and see what's on the other side of that veil we're looking through!

Besides: Cheeto and his congresscritters have made a change in 2018 all but inevitable (barring some electoral fraud...).

Any change that gets made will be due to the hard work of some people.
