Jpak's earlier post speculated what will happen if Trump fires Mueller. Jpak may well be right, but here's another scenario:
*Someone will leak the details of Mueller's findings and they will be significantly worse than we know.
* Even some of his crazy supporters will be pissed off when they learn the whole Russian affair was just a money laundering operation through Cyprus to enrich the Trump family
* If McConnell and Ryan do nothing, there will be a significant electoral shift which will make stealing the 2018 Congressional elections very difficult. Remember when Karl Rove claimed he had "the math" for 2008? Boy was he pissed when they couldn't steal it for McCain!
* When Democrats control one of the Houses, some Republicans will break ranks for self preservation and to prove to their constituents that they were not involved with the scandal.
Looking at Richard Nixon's fate in 1974, Trump will resign. Pence and the Republicans will be so damaged that 2020 could be a big Democratic win!
I'm just saying it's possible.
