Maybe paid for her education? I really don't know but she seems somewhat different than the rest of that bunch. I am sure she was pressed into service to appear at the convention but we have not seen much of her since the inauguration. I wonder if she is embarrassed by the tRump side of her family? I would bet tRump paid her mother off or threatened her if she talked too much about him.

The ex-spouse is forbidden from talking about Donald. If she does, the money is cut off (and maybe there's a stipulation she has to pay it back, as an added enforcement).

Ex-tRump spouses have to keep mum or risk having any money from the settlement cut off. It definitely keeps the ladies in line. It was my impression that Marla had a rougher financial time than Ivana had. Maybe he settled for less with her? It seemed like her lifestyle was maybe not as oppulent as it might have been? So perhaps Tiffany was not raised in the lap of luxury. I don't know for sure but Marla did appear on Dancing With the Stars a few seasons ago....which seems like something one does to either revive your name recognition or make a few bucks.

One thing we know for sure....tRump apparently likes to control people even after they are no longer married to him. For those unfortunate enough to still be legally tied to him, all it takes is a word or a look. Right Melania??

I sometimes feel sorry for him. He was very abused all his life, but instead of having compassion for others he just turned out to be another cold-hearted shithead. Some people come out of if and empathize with others and then there are others like Donny Jr. who turn around and inflict pain on everyone else.

the lobby looks ritzy, the suites are well appointed, and the concierge service will get you anything you need. Trump's kid is a "High Quality" person because he acts like a rich man's son, likes expensive shiny stuff, and thinks the rules don't apply to him.

You might say "he has high morals" or "he's very ethical" or "a sensible person with a good heart".

Saying somebody is high quality is oddly mechanical.

High quality? Does that mean he runs a good 4 minute mile, is an excellent speller or a very ethical person?

The fact that it is so odd in the way its used means that it isn't something that they regularly spend much time thinking or communicating about.

Its like calling an older person a "high quantity person".

Of course Trump is trying to put a positive spin on a very bad situation... but a loving parent would have used words like "honorable" or "trustworthy" or "man of principle" or "honest" or "ethical"...

.. but NO-O-o-o-o! Trump describes his own son as one would describe a piece of office equipment, or an appliance.

A totally dysfunctional family. (And even then, I have to wonder if "family" is the correct term. Were his children raised to be "colleagues" rather than actual siblings?)
