New York Post: 'Donald Trump Jr. is an Idiot'

The winds appear to be shifting for Donald Trump Jr.
While liberal lions over at MSNBC and CNN regularly blast the whole Trump family, friendly places are starting to turn. Case in point, the New York Post.
The NYC tabloid issued a blistering editorial last night after revelations that Trump Jr. has actively sought to collude with the Russia government against Hillary Clinton.
The piece titled “Donald Trump Jr. is an Idiot” was scathing.
<< Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. As were Junior’s shifting, incomplete accounts of the meeting under days of Times questioning. Democrats and the media are frothing to find something criminal in it all, with the most unhinged talking treason. What it clearly was, was criminally stupid. >>
The turn of phrase toward the end was clever bit of hedging to suggest the Post didn’t think the activity was necessarily criminal… but still.
Even more ominous, the editorial made its way over to the front of the Drudge Report. The conservative aggregation website is a major driver of official and unofficial GOP opinion. In recent days Drudge has linked to increasing hostility coverage of Don Jr. leading many to publicly speculate online about whether he had fallen out of favor with the website’s mercurial publisher, Matt Drudge.
