Plus, you get the potential that one of them, besides Trump himself, will let something slip that they shouldn't.

as much as he has to with Kellyanne Conway. But she's not normal. Neither is Gorka. And Anderson's job is not to editorialize. Just to report the facts.

My understanding is that it IS illegal to meet with foreign nationals for campaign intelligence.

if there were no special prosecutor, and no FBI investigation. Democrats and the press would be flailing their collective arms in impotent futility. GOP and Trump would be stonewalling the Congressional investigations that would be dragging along at a snail's pace until they'd get Breitbarted out of existence.

That's still possible.

All they have is what's on the record and logic. And the attorney was using every device of fallacy to sidestep the issues.
