I bet the GOP will win seats in 2018 with this HC bill. By he time the media goes lame and the RW propaganda is played 24-7 every where and the vote is suppressed and miscounted they will be able to declare victory. The president's new commission will make sure of that.
There is no other reason that explains the close vote to pass it. It should be dead but survives like Dracula.
Really hard not to be cynical. Pundits still seem to be saying it will be very hard to dislodge GOP in 2j018 because of rigged elections really.

(24,412 posts)I know the crazy Trumpsters will show up and vote Republican no matter what but I don't see it has a serious rallying call for most average voters. We need to, however, run on it and turn OUR voters and other health-loving people out to vote AGAINST Republicans whom supported this monstrosity in the House and Senate.

(10,602 posts)The GOP has destroyed so much since Reagan. And they also wrecked a lot even before 1980. Yet they still seem to win elections with the worst, most stupid, racist, bigoted and misogynist pricks they can find. And even these bad ones are worried about losing to and even worse shit head.
Until they start shooting people in the streets in the head voters won't wake up. And probably not even then.
