We all know Trump helped the Russian Mafia launder money, but it's legal. Even when #8 was investigated for creating 2,000 shell companies, and bank accounts to help Russians launder 1.4 billion dollars, even he wasn't arrested.

The wealthy extract from us, and the Russian people, and there is nothing we can do about it.

This is the world's opportunity to call a halt to this exploitation of the masses and export of wealth to themselves. Everyone is off-shoring. It's legal because they own the levers of law and governance.

last night I told my husband the ground has shifted beneath our feet. US is no longer the global leader. He pissed me off when his first response was "oh, well." I called him out on it. I think many others will do the same (say oh well). Just like in WWII...there will be the good Germans. We are frogs in a pot. In theory, it is a repeat of history...
When the Europeans first figured out how to get across the ocean, they came in search of treasures & land.
What they found was land & treasure already possessed by an indigenous population.

Rather than engage in diplomacy or immediate massacre ...
the europeans sought the assistance of those indigenous persons who were unhappy with the existing rulers...
and staged a coup..
capturing the executive in the hopes of using the executive as a PUPPET to maintain control of the population and carry out the Europeans desires.
Why?
So that the population would continue to work and live as they had been...
except that the Europeans would now benefit from their labor by using them to transfer the existing natural resources, wealth & land ownership to the Europeans present and their respective monarchs.

Unfortunately, disease destroyed the indigenous population. They never truly had an opportunity to organize and try to oust the Europeans.
