Finally McCain: "This isn't what Reagan would have done"

John McCain never gave much of a fuck, but as with most people in his position, he has even fewer fucks to give and seems to be coming after Trump more. Check out what he retweeted yesterday:

it's about time Trump feels the righteous wrath of an American veteran who has absolutely no reason to give one shit about that...person...in the White House.

I actually got an email from him yesterday saying he wants a special prosecutor to look into Russia interference in the election.

Staring death in the face, knowing that he's never again going to compete for votes, will he at last allow his conscience to guide his words? His presidential run, with Sarah Palin, seemed to change him completely, from the guy who could talk openly with Jon Stewart, who acknowledged wrongs by his party, who deserved to be called a maverick, to a slimey run-of-the-mill Republlic faithfully marching to his corrupt party's drumbeat.

I hope so. I think he personally is something of a sleazeball, but he is a true war hero, a brave man who made genuine sacrifices for his country, and it makes me sad to see him turn against the values he put his life on the line to defend.
