Does this mean he's made enough deals? I just don't see the point of bringing it to the floor for a vote if it's going to fail...

make it. Who knows, like Tweety said earlier, the R's tried to repeal
the ACA so many times, and got the votes, because they knew Obama would
veto it. Now, with the actual possibility that it might pass with Trump,
they're scared to support it. The majority of R constituents want to keep ACA.

(6,408 posts)Many can go back to their state and say they voted for repeal. Moderates can go back and say they wanted a better bill but the hard core conservatives wouldn't budge.
Granted 45 won't look good in this, but I think most have resolved themselves to the fact he won't be around much longer and they need to cover their own ass.
