If you haven't read the comic series "Knightfall" - or if you don't want any potential spoilers for the upcoming movie "Dark Knight Returns", then read no further.

For the uninitiated: In the comic book universe, Batman's alter ego is Bruce Wayne, an ultra-wealthy industrialist. In the series Knightfall, he faced a super-villain named Bane, who goes on to break the Batman's back, effectively sidelining him.

How awesome would it be if real life were to mirror the comic book universe, and Romney - an ultra-wealthy industrialist - had his political back broken by the super-villain corporation Bain?

After Miller's 'The Dark Knight Returns' series, most other Batman graphic novels paled in comparison.

Second best was 'The Killing Joke.'
