I suspect there are a few GOP senators who are carrying a lot of spite over the damage Trump is doing to the party.

I have. These kinds of votes are used to please the base or keep promises then they are free to represent their states or conscience. KY and AR are two states that have benefitted greatly from Medicaide expansion. I would be very surprised if they put their state GOP majorities at risk.

and know they will keep their base with God, Guns and Gays.

They release people only when they have the votes.

This voting for the procedural and not the bill won't cut it.

Done deal. We are screwed.

I prefer to watch, give it some thought based on what I have seen and learned up close, try to have hope and do what I can dod, and get mad when I have all of the facts.

Of course there's a good chance I will be disappointed. It's part of life. To walk around without hope is to be completely useless as a friend, colleague, or role model.

I guess it appeared I had inside knowledge of McConnell and the Republiscums.

I only know them to be vile assholes who will destroy our country. And there is no check on them.
