Donald Trump should be celebrating today. The Republican Senate finally got their healthcare bill to the floor for debate. Not a giant leap but at least a small step forward. Also, his son-in-law, Jared Kushner apparently escaped the House Intel Committee unscathed.
But there is no joy in Mudville. The House of Representatives passed the sanctions bill against Russia with only 4 dissenting votes. This was not a good signal to send to his buddy, Putin.
On top of it all, Jeff Sessions refused to resign. He seems to be daring Trump to fire him? That would create a whole new environment with Deputy AG Rosenstein in charge. Also, right-wing talk radio came out in support of Sessions today, which further complicated Donald's plans to get rid of Robert Mueller and to continue his bromance with Vladimir Putin.
Mighty Donald has not had a good day.

Trump will have to fire Sessions. and .....that will be worse for Trump...but we will see. But one thing is for sure, this is an ugly show.

(9 posts)He remains in office and is a step closer to taking 22-32 million Americans off of needed health care. To him, probably good.
(I am so sorry I said Baby Bush was the worst of my lifetime......I never imagined D. Trump as President.)
