Murkowski Unfazed by Trump Criticism

After President Trump tweeted that Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) “really let the Republicans, and our country, down” by voting against the motion to proceed on health care legislation, the Alaska senator told Link to tweet
" target="_blank">NBC News, “I am in a position where I’m not looking to reelection until 2022.”

She added: “And quite honestly, I don’t think it’s wise to be operating on a daily basis thinking about what a statement or a response that causes you to be fearful of your electoral prospects.”

Let Trump continue to dis independently minded Republican senators in the meanest and harshest terms he can think of. He should tear them down and call them the lowest scum in the swamp. As many of them as possible and as soon as possible. May the spirit of Jim Jeffords guide their subsequent actions.

Maybe Alaska is so conservative that she wouldn't get reelected.
But I sure would like that to happen. It just might sober them up out of their libertarian wet dream.

in the 2010 GOP primary, which he won. Murkowski fought back with a write in campaign to retain her senate seat. Miller was/is a tea bagger.

She doesn't owe Palin's pal, Trump or tea bagger Republicans, jack shit.
