You are right about him. I think I have read that he has some sort of experience as a Congressional aide or something? He is steady, intelligent, knowledgeable, and compassionate.

I'm sure he must have Emmys from The West Wing, where he was writer/producer.

Nominations for the 38th Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards were announced Tuesday by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, according to Variety.

The nominations announced Tuesday included several for MSNBC’s primetime lineup.

The Rachel Maddow Show received two Emmy nominations. All in with Chris Hayes also received two nominations.

And The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell received one Emmy nomination.

One of the nominations for Maddow was for her interview with Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway.

The Emmy nominations for MSNBC comes as the network has seen a surge in viewership during the Trump era.

Last week, for the first time in history, MSNBC had more total viewers than Fox News. http://www.progressivepostdaily.com/2017/07/25/rachel-maddow-chris-hayes-lawrence-odonnell-receive-emmy-nominations/
