The irony is that for seven years they "promised" to repeal the ACA

I think that it was only last year, perhaps two years, that they started talking about "repeal and replace."

And while they thought that repealing would be a simple vote - apparently not - repeal and replace required more work and none of these idiots thought to have something ready.

Also, while many voters cheered their representatives and Whiny Donny with their promise of repeal, even voted for them, all of a sudden, when losing their benefits appeared real, they realized that they actually like them.

what to do if it passed. They could just placate the wingnuts by going through the motions of repeal because Obama. But with a GOPer in the White House (and a particularly loathsome one at that), they actually had to have a plan, and they never could come up with one.
