(13,869 posts)I saw this coming. There is no way his vulgar rant was not planned. His goal was to get his name known and get his deal with the Chinese. I predicted that it was a setup so Trump would fire him and Trump could actually look sane and a bit more controlled in comparison to Scaramucci.
What I didn't know but now makes sense is that Trump was going to replace Priebus with Kelly, so now his firing and the statement that "Kelly is in total charge" again makes Trump look good in comparison to the worse things he has been doing.

(1,148 posts)staff shakeup all for the sake of messaging, I say you're giving these loonies far too much brain credit.
How does whining that Sessions can't fire Meuller, transgender military tweet, Hitler youth+police rallies, Bannon *****ng his own ****, etc. etc. etc. add to this week of great messaging
oxbow
(2,034 posts)Of course, they look for a way to spin it but it doesn't look good. Watch for a statement about how "scaramucci is a great, great person. I only hire and then fire the very best."

(7,220 posts)Besides, all his strategic brain power is concentrated on figuring out how to get Mueller fired without everyone knowing why.

(39 posts)thinking this. Scaramucci's antics, plus all the rest, were an excellent distraction from Browder's testimony. And the media bought it, because of course they would.

Even the Huffington Post English edition realized this, Americans mass media is still chasing the shiny object.

Sorry for spamming this link, but it needs exposure while the Americans mass media is chasing the laser all around the wall while the mice steal the refrigerator to get the cheese

(10,749 posts)Well, he was a communications director, if only for 11 days. It'll be interesting to see how he spins this.
I believe he may be well and truly fucked on taxes, having sold a share of his holdings in SkyBridge to a Chinese company. Hmm. . . Chinese company. I recall reading that it has ties to the Chinese government. Well, the Mueller investigation will go wherever the evidence takes it. I think this may take it to Scaramucci and China. Time to lawyer up?
Does anyone else get the feeling that if you want to talk to Mueller's team you have to take a number, like at the deli section of the supermarket?
