Crist ran for the US Senate in 2010 as an Independent-he came in 2nd place splitting the Democratic vote with Kendrick Meek and Governor again in 2014 as a Democrat-narrowly lost to Scott-R

Crist could also try for Governor again. I don't think he's through with politics.
