Preserve, protect and defend the Constitution, unless it could be embarrassing.

Trump claims parts of the sanctions legislation he signed today are 'unconstitutional,' but signed it into law anyway. If Trump truly believes that, why is he not vetoing the legislation and forcing an override?

Could it be that Trump is more concerned about his public image and avoiding embarrassment as a 'weak' president than he is about his duty to the Constitution as he understands it?
