My grandparents showed up as young children with parents who had about $10 in their pocket and didn't speak a word of English. They worked as a longshoreman, a washing machine salesman, and typists. Among the next generation there were military veterans, doctors, lawyers, a Federal Judge, and IVY League graduates.

They were also members of a minority who were the targets of discrimmination and quotas.

The Trump administration is a lying hate machine. I am so ashamed to be an American in these times.

12. I would wager that Stephen Miller's grandparents or great-grandparents

were not professionals, were very poor, and did not speak English when they came to America. They were most likely Eastern or Central European Jews running away either from the pogroms of the Russian Czar or the Nazis.

this new Immigration bill will increase competition for American college grads exiting college, thus driving down the value of a degree in the US. Look for the number of under-employed Americans with degrees to go up. Bigly!
