I think he is losing the struggle to hide the fact that he is losing his hair. As a result of his increasingly-elaborate (and futile) construction of doubled-over swirls and filigrees, his coiffure has taken on strange shapes that often make his head look like it has corners. While his hair architecture is probably less important than what goes on in the pinball game taking place underneath it, it's interesting to observe the course of a pathetically vain man's losing battle with baldness.

of picking on someone because of some physical feature they were born with or acquired as a normal side-effect of aging (which is where women get most of the crap: She's too fat! Too thin! I'm picking on Trump not because of his naturally-inherited/acquired looks (he's old, wrinkled and overweight, but so am I), but because he intentionally styles his hair in a bizarre way that seems to reflect his vain and weird personality.
