Republican - Anti-choice
Democrat - Anti-choice and maybe half the time they might caucus with Dems. They're known as blue dog democrats.
There are some independents, but they get such a slim minority that it's pretty much throwing votes away.
I don't like supporting candidates that do not support a woman's right in making her own reproductive health care choices, but here in our deep red area...what do you do?
You can't even utter abortion unless you're against it before they're going ape-shit. A candidate can't even get their toe in the door if they're pro-choice.

(36,926 posts)an anti-choice Repuke, or an anti-choice Dem, who do you think they're going to vote for? The Repuke, of course, because these people don't, and never will, trust the Democratic caucus. Their goal is to take over the government, which they effectively have, in order to push through the most extreme SCOTUS and legislation possible.

A Democratic majority in the Senate is still a majority, and a majority of those Democrats will oppose judicial nominees hostile to a woman's right to privacy.
