Bill Maher had a discussion with Ralph Reed and he missed one question

that I wish Reed were faced: how did you guys, who do not want to separate state and church, react to the famous tape? I thought that Reed held his own and I wish Maher confronted him with this tape.

quiet. Gish gallopers should be banned unless they agree to not do it.

I made it until Maher yelled "JUST PAY YOUR TAXES!" to cheers and applause.

Clue phone: Bill, nobody wants to listen to that crap. Stop booking them.

them for the most part. If you think of it doing the gish gallop is an admission that your argument can't win on its merits so you go with volume. I think it is needed that GOPer celebrities and politicians go somewhere and come face to face with comedy. If you think of it the right pretty much avoids comedy...as comedy punches through to truths in ways people remember and the right is all about lies. Al Franken is the only other comedian in 'mixed' company all the time and he is in the Senate. Reed revealed himself to be a complete partisan hack, not a religious leader. That said, I think Anderson Cooper got Kellyanne Conway to not gish. At least the last time i saw him interview her she wasn't raving. When she gets going on her gish she doesn't stop. At least ralph reed was a slow moving gish. Tomi Lahren gished Trever Noah and he could punch through but it is so apathy creating in the viewer. It is so exasperating. Saw a clip of Lahren debating with Chelsea Handler and it was very informative because they were having a discussion with no gish in the portion I saw. The public being informed should elevate the audience not diminish us. Maybe Democrats and MSM could make it a rule across platforms that no gish gallop is allowed? Of course that is the point of a gish: to demoralize your opponents and their audience. I wonder if fox news uses the gish gallop on their own audiences? Never seen Fox News so I don't know. That would be really telling if they don't gish their liberal guests at all because they didn't want to let the air out of their audience enthusiasm for politics.

Trump complained that the White House is a dump. Really? Dumps usually are full of rats and leak..

The guy is an idiot and a hypocrite and doesn't comprehend logic or reason. He is a joke and totally disrespectful to Bill Maher. If you are going to come on someone's show, have some manners and respect for the host. It was absolutely repulsive and pathetic to listen to him spew that bs. He is defending the indefensible which makes him complicit.

be polite, so they take advantage of him. All his comments were stupid and unsupported but Bill could not cut him to tell him that he was full of shit.

But that is the risk he takes unfortunately. It sucks but it isn't like the audience doesn't know he is an absolute lunatic.
