The truth is really going to hurt...

Trump is either a criminal or he is not. Both sides cannot be right.

One side is going to be very unhappy when the truth arrives.

It's going to be like sliding down a 50-foot razor blade...and landing in a pool of alcohol. We cannot imagine the pain that is still to come.

It's gonna hurt real bad.

and committing acts that rise to the level of criminality. He's got a platoon of crooked lawyers behind him always keeping him barely skimming the surface of the criminal.

Then again, his casino in AC was busted for laundering Russian mob money and at least one of his overseas casinos is being investigated by both the feds and the host country for the same thing.

Also, he hates being told what to do and what not to do. There is a good chance he's ignored legal advice over the years and slid well over the line from time to time.

It will be interesting to see what shakes out. Even if they can't find anything purely criminal, exposing things like underpaying taxes and overstating wealth are going to send his fans on a ride down that razor blade.

4. He has already paid a $25 million dollar fine for defrauding people at Trump University...

And this has happened since he became the nominee, as I recall. He was fined $10 million for money laundering with his casino. He is guilty already. Whether or not Mueller can find more is the question?

11. He has Big Ideas

and expects other people to flesh out those Big Ideas© and turn them into Big Reality, worthy of sticking his name on. That was particularly problematic with T.U., a course for would be real estate developers wherein the first lesson was "borrow a million dollars from your daddy." It was doomed to failure from the outset but nobody wanted to admit it to the Big Man. I suppose the fraud was in not disclosing that first, all important step in duplicating Asshole's success in putting up big eyesores in cities all over the world.

3. Why is he calling Mueller??

It is not up to us to prove it. It is up to Mueller and the investigators. But we would all be very disappointed if he is given a clean bill of health.

8. Joe Conasen thinks it is just Trump's feeble repeated attempts to ingratiate himself

as he tried with Preet, Comey, and others...

I don't know... I worry that there is something more devious involved (not from Mueller, but from RW smear machine)

going on that unpleasant ride. If he is who we think he is and Mueller gets him we will take the ride but be spared the alcohol, that will be for those who are yelling it is a liberal conspiracy and fake news. Let's hope the alcohol shocks some sense into them. No matter who is right we are all going to hurt.

our country will never, ever recover from this fiasco. Humpty Dumpty has fallen off the wall and nothing can put the pieces together again. I don't know what we will look like as a nation, but it will certainly be disastrous.

There may be quite a lot of people who never slide down that razor but continue to insist they made the right choice. And those that do take the slide might want to inflict that pain on others. I'm not just talking about rioting in the streets. I'm thinking about all the RWNJs who will beat up their spouses, run over their neighbor's dogs, turn more mean and surly because of the agony.
