KC just passed minimum wage to $15/hr
In January state lawmakers voted to make Missouri a Right to Work state, even though that ballot measure lost two years earlier at the polls. St Louis also recently voted an increased minimum wage,which was overruled by a vote in Jeff City stating that no Missouri city may increase the minimum wage higher than the state minimum. ($7.70 per hour.)
Keep your eyes and ears open. This is about to be a nasty court battle.
