Trump Knows Nothing. He Understands Nothing.

He vastly overestimates what he can order the military to do and have carried out immediately. He has no understanding of how any of that works. He thinks he can give an order and North Korea would be dust within 24 hours. He has zero understanding of military operations or the planning and preparation that goes into them.

So, he makes threats he can't even carry out. While an initial attack against North Korea would certainly be possible, it would not in any way be adequate to prevent an assault on Seoul and our military bases in South Korea that would result in massive destruction and loss of life. A continuing war with North Korea would take months to prepare for.

He probably also thinks that if he orders a nuclear attack, that would take place instantly and wipe out the whole of North Korea. While it's true that a few nukes could be launched in an attack immediately, it would take far longer for followup attacks. But, he will be advised, in the strongest of terms, that using nuclear weapons is not a valid choice. That's because world opinion would be universal against such an action and we would find ourselves without friends and allies immediately. There is no possible positive outcome from such a decision. None. And there are many, many people who would make that clear to PINO Trump.

If he persists in ordering such a thing, I doubt he would survive, in reality, to discover how stupid he is.

If he fails to ensure that innocent civilian Americans are evacuated from South Korea prior to a major assault on North Korea, he would find himself impeached and removed in days by a violently angry Congress. He has no idea what the consequences of his warlike threats actually would mean, if carried out.

Donald Trump does not understand much of anything, really, yet he persists in blustering and issuing useless threats he cannot turn into real actions. But, he doesn't know that. He thinks that his orders will be carried out, instanter, by his military forces. He doesn't realize that instant action is not possible in conventional warfare. It simply is not.

That is how stupid Donald Trump is. He knows nothing. He understands nothing. He speaks out of his ass every time he opens his mouth. It is time for Congress to remove this buffoon of a President. Congress should take up impeachment as soon as they return to DC and make it their only priority until the Senate has removed him from office.

No one's going to obey the orders of the Traitor anymore. He can squawk and strut, preen and bully his aides, but the slippery slope to prison is well-greased and short.

He has three of them right at his elbow, and who knows, maybe that's why they accepted the job.

Military options require lawful orders in order for the option to be deployed. What lawful order could be given to preemptively attack another country? Retaliation as an option might be easy to come by but an attack without actual physical provocation would be bridge too far for many serving in the military. And the oath sworn by our military to defend against foreign and domestic enemies as well as Geneva Convention prohibitions against following unlawful orders seems to me to allow for a while lotta disobedience if the jackass tries to go nuclear.

Japan is a direct "hit" as well....maybe not from an initial attack but the devastation that will occur will severely impact our ally.....does he even know or realize? Yea....didn't think so, moron!

And he is willing to pull it out and have a pissing match to prove he's better. That's what it comes down to, isn't it? tRump believes HE and HE ALONE is America, just as Kim Jong Un IS NK. Well, it is probably true that Kim Jong Un IS NK, but America is far from a dictatorship. We need to stop the enablers who allow tRump to continue in his demented belief. We need more people to stand up and call tRump out for what he is, a charlatan with no power whatsoever.

I watched a little bit of Blitzer last night. All the talking heads were very serious trying to explain tRump's message versus the realities of our military. There are various scenarios, all of them so well thought out. I couldn't help but laugh. The mad man on the soap box makes a statement, and these experts flock to analyze his words as if they contain the most profound meaning. All they had to say was that tRump has a big nuclear package that he wants to show off to impress Kim Jong Un.

"If you can't dazzle them with brains,
then baffle them with bullshit".

All his life he has operated on the principle that "everyone lies" so he feels entirely free to say whatever pops into his mind at the moment, totally oblivious to whether it has any basis in fact or not. If he's successful in his lie, he's a "winner". If he's not, well that's what all his attorneys are for. They will tie it up in court for years and make the opposing litigant wish (s)he'd never been born. For Trump there are simply no consequences for any 'decision' he makes, good or bad.
