"Manafort awoken by group of armed FBI agents knocking on his bedroom door as they executed warrant"

Shocking--this suggests the FBI obtained a "no knock" warrant.
That would mean they thought Manafort would destroy evidence if they knocked.

According to a source familiar with the investigation, Manafort was awoken by a group of armed FBI agents knocking on his bedroom door as they executed the warrant on July 26.

Just last month, Manafort registered as a foreign agent for his past work on behalf of Ukraine, his spokesperson confirmed at the time to ABC News. He resigned from the Trump campaign last August amid questions about his foreign business ties.

Manafort and the president's oldest son, Donald Trump Jr., have started handing over documents to the Senate Judiciary Committee in compliance with the panel's investigation into possible Russian election interference.

The Trump campaign sent more than 20,000 pages of documents to the committee on Aug. 2, the deadline to submit documents to the committee.

Mueller wants the others to know they are serious and will be next if they don't cooperate.

When Mueller tells the WH not to destroy documents, who is going to make sure they don't? Of course you shouldn't trust these people. I mean, duh! They colluded with the enemy. They cheated and lied. What makes anyone think that destroying a few key documents is out of the range of possibilities?

They caught Ms Winner within hours of her leaking her NSA document.

If the document has been transmitted to someone, and it has, then it can be found and retrieved with ease.
