The NK/Trump thing may effect Guam hospitals' staffing.

I say that because as a traveling RN I follow FB pages that are about my industry...travel nurses.

Guam hospital(s) use travel nurses so there are occasional posts about agencies having positions there. I've seen some posts by nurses now mulling over whether that is a wise idea right now. One person said she'd be OK with it since there are US military stationed in Guam. Another nurse announced she was in the process of perhaps going there and others brought up Trump/NK/Guam to her...she doesn't follow the news so they had to bring her up to speed on things.

Bottom line....Trump's stupidness could cut deep into Guam's everyday life...right down to whether they will be able to adequately staff their hospitals even if things don't escalate even more.

I stay in the US mainland for my assignments. Some, however, go to Hawaii, Alaska, and yes, Guam.
