[Behind the Aegis]

In the mid-90's, Paula Cole recorded a song, "Hitler's Brothers". It is very much what we are seeing today in Charlottesville. I am afraid many people don't see the writing on the wall. We have entered a new, and frankly, terrifying time in our history. For those who don't venture in the Oklahoma Group or LGBT group, you likely missed this story:

Gamel-Medler, a white gay man with a seven year-old African-American son, was first threatened in September 2016 at a town council meeting only one month after moving to Hitchcock, Oklahoma.

Upon learning that Gamel-Medler had an African-American son, defendant Meradith Norris, a town of Hitchcock Trustee, asked, “What’s going to happen when your house burns down, and we don’t send out the fire trucks?”

On May 28, the complaint notes that Gamel-Medler heard the sound of glass breaking in his garage and called the Sheriff’s office to report a burglary. He then saw a fire in his garage and called the fire department.

Despite the fire department being located one block away from Gamel-Medler’s home, the fire department failed to arrive until the house had burned to the ground. While the house was burning, a number of the named defendants watched it burn, including Edsall (added: This is the MAYOR of the city), who sat and watched with his family in lawn chairs.

We have chants at the rally demonizing Jews, which is often overlooked by way too many. "Never Again" is not a hollow phrase, or at least it shouldn't be. Nazism is making a comeback and it isn't just lurking in the shadows. It must be confronted and called out in ways which make it clear it is unacceptable in America.

I am no smarter than anyone else, but I expected 'this 'to happen months ago..Unfortunately, I turned out to be right..
And by 'this" i mean there will be very widespread right-wing violence.

2. Sad to be "right", ain't it?!

I also was saying this (or something similar) was coming down the pike and was accused of having my hair on fire. Just how bad do some need it to get before they are more than "concerned"?

I hate posting pics of any of those assholes, but the FACES of the new Nazis and White supremacists must be seen. These aren't run-of-the-mill Kluckers or skinheads, these are "respected" leaders, and therein lies the ultimate danger!
