The alt-right/white nationalists are Trump's firewall
These are the people who claim they'll take up arms if Trump is impeached.
The sad fact of the matter is that politically he can't afford to come down hard on them.
Of course this is the type of thing where political thinking ought to be damned but Trump's only thinking about his own survival and nothing else.
