Be honest. Would you vote for a Democrat that outsourced jobs and refused to show his tax returns?

No matter if that Democrat was Barack Obama?

Personally, I would not. However, we live in very partisan times and voters cut a lot of slack to their Party leaders.

If Barack Obama had done the same thing as Mitt Romney, would you find it difficult to vote for him?

I refuse to vote for anyone that has made millions overseas and refuses to make public his tax returns. That seems so......unpatriotic.

I cannot understand why every American, Democrat and Republican and other, are not asking for Mitt Romney to be totally transparent in regards to outsourcing jobs and stashing millions in tax havens and not being totally forthcoming.

It just doesn't make sense to me.

We'd never have to make that choice because the Democrats actually vett their choices. n/t progressivebydesign Jul 2012 #2

but I have to say I'd find it difficult to vote for a republican or to sit out a vote that could keep a republican out of office.

That said, I'm not sure how realistic your premise is because I can't envision a Democrat making a ton of money by outsourcing American jobs and then trying to keep his tax returns secret.

If that ever happened, it's hard to say what I'd do. I guess it would come down to a "lesser of two evils" vote.

And I could never imagine a Democrat being a nominee with this much baggage either.

I wouldn't really have an option outside of voting for him again. The other side is at odds with my interests completely, plus at least he has accomplished a lot despite obstruction from Congress. Furthermore, it would be pointless for me to vote 3rd party anyway because they would still need people in Congress of the same party in order to promote their agenda.

I'm a social moderate but a fiscal liberal...so no, I'd never vote for an outsourcing Democrat who lacks the integrity to come clean about his tax returns or finances...which is to say, I'd never vote for a lot of Democrats. Fortunately, those are the Democrats who have no chance of securing the nomination.
