So much of what's been said in recent days -- even more so than in the previous 200 days -- has been about what Trump SHOULD be saying, or SHOULD be doing.
But while God knows there's been no end to the teachable moments, TRUMP ISN'T TEACHABLE. If he had ever been teachable, he wouldn't be doing what he's doing now.
He has to be removed from office, via impeachment or the 25th Amendment.
I believe more and more Republican lawmakers agree with that, in private. Many of them are sounding more and more critical of Trump.
They're going to have to step forward and take responsibility for removing this monster their party elected (with plenty of Russian help), before he has much longer to try to bring down our country like an angry toddler destroying a tower of blocks.

(17,276 posts)It seems like more and more of them are going around him and not waiting for him to act, to make a statement, or propose legislation. He is so weak and cowardly, so ineffective and ignorant of what he's supposed to be doing.
The only strength he has is his ability to BS everyone and blanket us all with his lies, empty threats, and cons--everything negative. If he couldn't speak or tweet, he wouldn't be anything at all.

But Republican lawmakers could take action against him much faster...if they were only willing to put country above party.

Impeachment and removal from office causes forfeiture of pension and protection by the Secret Service.
