Neo-Nazi Site Daily Stormer Is Banned By Google After Attempted Move From GoDaddy - NPR

http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2017/08/14/543360434/white-supremacist-site-is-banned-by-go-daddy-after-virginia-rally

After a purported hack and a 24-hour deadline to relocate its Web domain, the Daily Stormer, a neo-Nazi website that promoted the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Va., moved its site to Google before its registration there was also refused.

"We are cancelling Daily Stormer's registration with Google Domains for violating our terms of service," a Google spokesperson told NPR on Monday.

So good, let them pay for their own server. It'll make them use some of their own finances to get it running and keep it running. Let them deal with the inevitable cost of hacks against them.

It always amuses me that they think the first amendment gives them the right to free speech when it actually prevents the gov from inhibiting their free speech.

These are the domain registrars.

I am sure they will find somewhere, but it's good to see some high profile rebukes in the mean time

The domain registration is what turns a domain name, like democraticunderground.com, to an IP address.

Maybe a "concerned" citizen should offer to host it for free for a year or two. Then dump all of their personal information online.
