There's a thread here that leads to a security warning

I'm not sure if my browser is overreacting or not, but here is the warning I received when I attempted to open one particular thread in GD (titled "Isn't it odd that..." ):

The site ahead contains dangerous apps. Attackers currently on www.mastermason.com could install dangerous apps that damage your device, add hidden charges to your mobile bill, or steal your personal information. Learn more.

but I had a similar one a few times when searching the archives for a thread that I started. I proceeded anyway and it was fine, but something here triggered the "false positive" with the anti-virus software.

Those scumbags will do anything to suppress rational thinking, so we must be diligent.

It only happens in that one thread. It immediately goes to a red screen with that warning. Took a screenshot but couldn't post it for some reason.

Sounds like you may have picked up some spyware, likely from another site.

But you're on Android, and I'm sort of guessing here. If you were using an iOS device, I'd know for sure what was going on and how to fix it. Maybe someone else here can say for sure. Wish I could help more.

the other day- I have a new laptop and I know it wasn't from my device. There is no sign of spyware, or malware either.

My mouse was moving by itself for around 30 seconds... I can't recall the name of the thread, but it was in the GD area.

I didn't get a specific warning, just a general Malware content warning. I was on my laptop using 'Chrome' browser at the time, not my iphone.
