Charlottesville police hunting white supremacist who mercilessly beat black man in parking garage

Charlottesville police were hunting Tuesday for a suspect identified as one of the white supremacists videotaped while savagely beating a helpless black man.

Sgt. Shawn Bayles said investigators now had a name for one of the multiple suspects in the hate-fueled Saturday night attack inside a parking garage.

“We have identified someone,” said Bayles about the search for the attackers of Deandre Harris. “Now it’s just a question of finding him, getting an arrest warrant and bringing him back here.”

According to Bayles, the suspect is not a Virginia resident and cops are trying to track him down.
